Florence Adu's Journey with Go Girl Ghana
My name is Florence Adu, and I am 18 years old. My parents were farmers, but after moving, my father worked as a mason and my mother worked as a trader.
Due to illness and financial challenges in our family, my sister and I had to stop school and help by selling small items to support our home. Despite the difficulties and not performing well in my BECE, I never gave up hope for a better future.
Go Girl Ghana became my biggest source of hope and support during this time. With their help, I was able to return to school and continue my education. I am truly grateful to God and Go Girl Ghana, and I am proud to be part of this organization. 💪📖👧🏿

A Volunteer's Story
I am Lydia Asor Kwakye, a Medical Laboratory Scientist, and I came to know about Go Girl Ghana in 2023 through my nieces, Esther and Stephanie, who live in Buduburam. After facing many challenges growing up without their mother, they found hope and support through Go Girl Ghana’s community program.
Through the organization, they received ICT training, educational support, and essential learning materials that have helped them stay focused on their education.
I was also invited to meetings and became part of the Mother’s Club, which has helped me grow personally and learn valuable life skills. Inspired by the organization’s motto, “We learn, we share, and together we are the voice of change,”
I decided to volunteer and support other girls. Today, I am proud to contribute to empowering young girls and helping create positive change in our communities. 💪📖👧🏿

My name is Anita Ndoyela from Nyanyano, and my journey with Go Girl Ghana began in 2022 when I was selected while in my final year of Junior High School.
Through the girls’ meetings and mentorship, I gained confidence, especially in public speaking, after being encouraged by Ms. Comfort.
During vacation classes, I also developed a love for ICT, a subject I once feared. Because of the support and training from Go Girl Ghana, I joined the Debaters Club in Senior High School and later won awards, including Second Best Speaker and Overall Second Best Student in Elective ICT.
